Licensing

1. Governance Framework — Apache 2.0 (In Preparation)

The MAEGM seven-layer governance architecture is intended for open-source release under the Apache License, Version 2.0. This license will permit any jurisdiction, institution, or developer to adopt, adapt, and extend the framework for their own governance needs.

Apache 2.0 licensing is currently in preparation. Once released, the governance architecture specification — including layer definitions, scaling proofs, and fault tolerance methodology — will be publicly available under permissive open-source terms.

2. Platform Implementation — Proprietary

The MyBiz platform, including all source code, user interfaces, algorithms, and operational systems, remains the proprietary intellectual property of BWR Group Canada. The platform implementation is not covered by the Apache 2.0 license and is not available for redistribution, modification, or commercial use without explicit written authorization.

3. Trademarks

The following marks are trademarks of BWR Group Canada, registration pending:

  • O.C.T.O.P.U.S.™
  • SLIP™
  • FRT Suite™
  • EGAN PRICE™
  • MAGNET™
  • Swap Me™

Use of these trademarks requires prior written consent from BWR Group Canada.

4. Proprietary Methodologies

The SLIP measurement standard, VED financial architecture, FRT Suite verification methodology, and all associated formulas, weights, and internal scoring systems are proprietary. Public documentation describes what these systems measure — not how they calculate.

5. Content and Artwork

All written content, visual artwork, series publications, and gallery images displayed on BrentAI.ca are the intellectual property of BWR Group Canada unless otherwise credited. Reproduction, distribution, or commercial use requires written permission.

6. Compliance Certifications

SOC 2 Type I — Achieved (Deloitte & Touche LLP, 2025). Security and operational controls independently verified. Full certification documentation is available to authorized institutional partners through The Vault.
